  14. Thank you for downloading SynFactory. The interactive modular software synthesizer.
  15. This readme.txt file contains the latest release information. SynFactory is still in the
  16. development stage, so it is important to know the limitations and problems of the
  17. current version. For further information check the website or send me an email.

  27.   * Fully modular, no fixed configuration. Free to route any signal to any module.
  28.     All signals run at audio rate (44.1 Khz) therefore ultrafast LFO and Envelope modulation.

  46.     For WindowsNT4/2000/XP more memory is recommended (64 Mb+)
  47.   * Soundcard capable of 16 bits stereo playback at 44.1 Khz
  48.   * A keyboard and a two button mouse

  61.    - Every RND module (or OSC in Random mode) now has its own noise generator, making the modules independed of each other.
  62.      - Also increased the randomness of the noise source, less artifacts are present in the spectrum.

  86. KNOWN PROBLEMS (version 0.99)

  89.   * Loading SoftSynt 1.0 files can crash the program (just don't try that for the moment)
  90.   * On systems running on low-end video cards, sometimes the wrong colors are used for
  91.     objects on the screen (program will still function correctly)
  92.   * One waveform of the OSC module doesn't work.

  94.   Although the current relase is still a development version, it is quite stable and it never
  95.   crashed on me during normal use.
